Robert Half is currently interviewing potential candidates for a company in the Manufacturing industry. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. If you are a collaborative team member with a positive attitude and effective communication skills, then this role is for you. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Georgetown, Kentucky area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position.Key responsibilities- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks- Operate full-cycle A/P- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Perform special projects as assigned- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
