Currently we have an Associate Cost Accountant role open. As the Associate Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for providing gross margin reporting and analysis on service parts and logo store sales. This position is also responsible for warranty reporting and analysis, supporting manufacturing with reporting on standard labor hours and productivity, as well as analyzing and reporting on Q balance activity.

Essential functions of the position include:
Maintain invoicing of machines, parts credits, misc. invoicing and post billing.
Performs all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing responsibilities timely and accurately
Analyze monthly parts and logo sales and gross margin activity to ensure accuracy and report results
Warranty analysis and reporting (monthly warranty expense, warranty sufficiency, and cost of poor quality)
Prepare and distribute monthly reports timely and accurately
Perform reconciliations, analysis and maintenance on assigned general ledger accounts
Monthly analysis of standard cost variances and preparation of standard cost change forms as necessary
Monthly and quarterly analysis of inventory adjustments
Understand the cost system and inventory processes/flow
Analyze and report on Q balance activity. This includes working with QA to insure the reporting is accurate and the inventory reserve is adequately sufficient.
Customer support (assisting people external to the accounting department)
Participate in other duties or special projects as assigned



General qualifications for this role:
4 year degree in accounting or equivalent
0-2 years accounting experience
Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
