Description A client of ours has a dire need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to govern over financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and cash flow. Our client is seeking a permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team in the Lexington, Kentucky area via Robert Half. Qualified candidates should apply as soon as possible!
How you will make an impact

• 
  
• 
  Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
  
  
• 
  Supervise monthly accounting close
  
  
• 
  Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
  
  
• 
  Make all cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
  
  
• 
  Outline business license and gross receipts
  
  
• 
  File budget transfers
  
  
• 
  Regulate Accounts Receivable
  
  
• 
  Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
  
  
• 
  Other special projects as requested
  
  
• 
  Supply cash flow projections, as needed
  
  
• 
  Enter Accounts Payable
  
  
• 
  Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments Requirements - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
  
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail
  
  
• 
  Strong time management and organizational skills
  
  
• 
  Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  
  
• 
  Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
  
  
• 
  0+ years of related experience- Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
  
• 
  BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
  
  
• 
  Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
  
  
• 
  Accounts Payable (AP) experience
  
  
• 
  Solid understanding of Accounting 2000
  
  
• 
  Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
  
  
• 
  Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
