Job Description:

This position is remote eligible, but candidates must reside in our business footprint. Those states include: TN, GA, AL or KY.
Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all functions necessary to comply with all investor reporting requirements
• Work with internal accounting daily and monthly general ledger and DDA reconciliations for Mortgage Servicing transactions and for bank and investors
• Balance purchase advise daily between company and investor
• Track and validate Investor and Cash Services in the collection and disbursement of all boarded and service release related cash.
• Monitor outstanding disbursement checks
• Daily and Monthly Reconciliation of Sub-servicer Borrower Cash Receipts and Disbursements Reports to validate alignment with Investor and Lender Remittances.
• Initiate/monitor outgoing wires for various servicing functions
• Research and resolve complex balancing and reporting discrepancies
• Stay abreast of loan servicing platform functionality and interrelationship accounting
• Assist in training of servicing staff in accounting related items/issues
• Assist in other servicing functions as needed QualificationsEducation and/or Experience - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years in mortgage with a focus on loan servicing
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting with a focus on loan servicing
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisor or management
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Work and Outlook
  • Thorough knowledge of the secondary market and regulatory guidelines
  • High level knowledge of National Servicing Standard including agency specific (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) and loan type specific (VA, USDA, FHA, Conventional) servicing standards
  • Experience with Black Knight, Sagent or other servicing system required
  • Experience with Encompass preferred
  • Experience with Loan Vision preferred
