Job Description:

US Foods, a premier foodservice distributor, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Maintenance Technician to ensure operational efficiency and reliability of all warehouse machinery and equipment. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our operational capabilities, directly impacting our service delivery to approximately 300,000 restaurants and foodservice operators nationwide. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and engage in the setup of new equipment in our dynamic warehouse environment, safeguarding a high level of productivity and minimizing downtime. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with various machinery, including conveyors and packaging systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the maintenance department. Collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime and increase productivity. Manage inventory of parts and supplies required for maintenance duties. Record and document completed repairs and ongoing maintenance activities. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficiency in using tools and maintenance equipment. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
