Job Description Job Description Job Title: Vac Truck Foreman Business Unit: CNS, a Congruex Company Department: Construction Reports To: Project Managers (PM) Employment Status: Full-time non-exempt (hourly) Primary Location: Louisville, KY Our Large Program division (CNS) is looking for travel crews to complete work around the Louisville, Ky market. Our travel crews will provide support for our existing projects in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Our travel crew will work as a team to perform underground fiber construction (Plow, Drill, Bore, Vac Truck, Tie & Vault). On top of our existing great benefit package, our travel crew will also be eligible for: Competitive Base Pay Premium Pay (based on job level) Daily Per Diem Referral bonus Job Summary: As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks to assist with excavation projects, including the removal of liquids, slurries, and debris. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring sites are clean and safe for further excavation and construction work Must have a valid CDL driver’s license, with a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screening. Duties/Responsibilities: · Operate vacuum trucks to remove and transport liquids, slurries, and debris from excavation sites. · May also operate backhoe, mini excavator, shovel and vacuum truck. · Correctly communicate with crew of location utilities · Properly dispose of vac materials LICENSES/CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS: This position requires the following licenses, certificates, or registrations to perform the essential job duties or to meet legal requirements to perform this function. · DOT Medical Card · Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement Required Skills/Abilities: · Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsements. · 2 years previous experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred. · Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings. Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements: · Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.). Why Work at Congruex?
