Job Description:

The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Superintendent in the efficient control and management of the project, while ensuring safety and quality programs are being executed on the project site. This is accomplished through:LeadershipCreate foundational trust based on the highest integrity and the dignity of every personMaintain high level of safety in accordance with company and industry standardsMaintain high level of quality standardsInspect work in progress to ensure workmanship adheres to quality standards and project specificationsCoordinate and help manage on-site construction activities from project set up to completionIn coordination with the Project Manager and Superintendent, ensure all labor, materials, and subcontractors are onsite when requiredAssist in directing personnel and subcontractors in the planning and executing of work activities and coordinate phases of construction to avoid delaysEffectively communicate with others, including but not limited to suppliers, customers, and employeesCultivate relationships with existing customers through success project deliverySeek new opportunities in conjunction with Bristol Group's business development strategiesCreation / Development/ MaintenanceDevelop and manage critical path project schedules and two-week look ahead schedulesMaintain project documentation including daily and weekly reportingAbility to review and maintain field set of drawingsWorking in conjunction with project Superintendent to prepare personnel forecast to project employment needsAccountability for assigned equipment and tools on the projectFinancial ControlsAssist in the maintenance of project budgets Success of the position is measured by:Project safety; incidents, lost time accidents, regulatory sanctions / fines Project profitability - Project budgets are met or exceeded Projects delivered on timeQuality and cost of reworkProductivity - Labor cost vs targetCustomer complaintsTo perform this job successfully the employee must have the following:A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldThe ability to operate a computer, computer networks, Microsoft Office and other programs The ability to communicate at a high level, both receiving and disseminating information for clear understandingThe ability to understand broad direction and then formulate and execute detailed complex plans to meet that directionThe ability to demonstrate and be considered a leader in company valuesDuties may also include other related management and engineering activities as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor PI187875118
