time.We are looking for a motivated, organized, and talented
DevSecOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on the complete
deployment, infrastructure, monitoring, and security of CW's
applications. Become part of a team where your power to improve
lives is exponential.Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring
successful deployments to production, making sure that the
production applications meet required SLAs, and working with the
development team to triage and fix issues.Responsibilities:
- Deploys, automates, manages, and maintains cloud-based AWS
production system.
- Ensures availability, performance, security, and scalability of
production systems.
- Manages creation, release, and configuration of production
systems.
- Evaluates new technology alternatives and vendor products.
- Performs system troubleshooting and problem resolution across
various application domains and platforms.
- Conducts pre-production acceptance testing for quality
assurance.
- Provides critical system security by leveraging best practices
and prolific AWS cloud security solutions.
- Recommends architecture and process improvements.
- Defines and deploys systems for metrics, logging, and
monitoring on cloud platform.
- Designs, maintains, and manages tools for automation of
different operational processes.
- Automate security as part of the development and testing
processes.
- Plays a critical role in providing technical support for
day-to-day security operations, security tool integration,
automation support, change management and business continuity
program.
- Evolves Disaster Recovery infrastructure.
- Builds security into software requirements. Tests Early, Often
and Fast.
- Leverages Integrations to make application security a natural
part of the lifecycle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Here are our MUST
HAVES:Required Education, Experience, Certifications / Licensure, &
Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science OR the
equivalent combination of education and experience
- TWO or more years DevOps experience
- FIVE or more years total programming experience
- Recent DevOps experience with React Native and React
applications.
- A deep understanding of Amazon Web Services, especially EC2,
RDS, ECR, ECS, Route53, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure maintenance
and design.
- Experience with Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Experience with React and/or React Native code
development.
- CI/CD pipelines management and understanding (Jenkins, GitHub,
BitBucket)
- System monitoring and performance troubleshooting and
debugging.
- Ability to triage and troubleshoot production issues, including
security incidents.
- Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery design
techniques and infrastructure.
- A proven and successful history, developing elegant and
scalable JavaScript and/or TypeScript code.
- Knowledge and experience with REST API's.
- Experience in monitoring and improving DevSecOps tools and
processes, automate routine tasks and improve system
reliability.
- Experience implementing the OWASP security knowledge
framework.
- Ability to be on call 24x7 at least once a month.
