Job Description:

** Maintenance Engineer **Responsibilities:

• Analyze equipment & processes for improvement of safety, quality, cycle time & reliability.
• Troubleshoot machine controls with emphasis on downtime reduction.
• Primarily responsible for machine controls, automation, computer hardware/software troubleshooting
• Ensures proper documentation of Electrical Controls & Programs are available and maintained for all production equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to assigned areas (clean and lubricate bearings, gears, etc.)
• Document routine preventative maintenance actions and insights and provide to ME Manager
• Communicate with Manager and respective production supervisor estimation of repair time.
• Multi-skilled in machine automation to include electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Read, write, modify, design & maintain PLC/HMI programs.
• Work with OEM's & integrators on equipment improvement implementation.
• Assists manufacturing engineering members in equipment design, ECI's, and to address any production, quality, or product development needs
• Communicate with outside vendors and coordinate repairs with production so it is a seamless process
• Backfill Maintenance Manager when they're off
• Hours are dependent upon production demands and equipment operating statusQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering--(Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic) or other related field is--required
  • 0-5 years of industrial manufacturing experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge/Experience with controls programming
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to change priorities quickly
