Principal Functional Responsibilities:

• 
  Establish electrical test and measuring system to ensure validity and quality of all applicable cables, throughout the manufacturing process.
  
  
• 
  Develop routine electrical inspection and test procedures
  
  
• 
  Develop and maintain effective systems to achieve plant and Company quality objectives.
  
  
• 
  Maintain orderly records to demonstrate compliance with specifications.
  
  
• 
  Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate statistical sampling and/or control methods as needed to assure desired product quality levels.
  
  
• 
  Investigate returned materials due to quality complaints and insure that the necessary corrective action is initiated and implemented to prevent recurrence.
  
  
• 
  Develop and maintain a system for the effective management of nonconforming material documentation and report metrics to comply with plant and company requirements.
  
  
• 
  Develop and communicate effective quality performance metrics throughout the organization.
  
  
• 
  Direct and lead cross functional teams to effectively deliver improvement projects.
  
  
• 
  Identify adverse quality trends as evidenced by statistical analysis and assist process engineering and/or manufacturing personnel in the development of corrective actions.
  
  
• 
  Support plant efforts to maintain and conform to plant quality standards.
  
  
• 
  Facilitate customer and regulatory agency inspections.
  
  
• 
  Provide support to other departments in their pursuit of improved quality products and processes.
  
  
• 
  Perform related duties as directed by Manager.
