Job Description:
Principal Functional Responsibilities:
Establish electrical test and measuring system to ensure validity
and quality of all applicable cables, throughout the manufacturing
process.
Develop routine electrical inspection and test procedures
Develop and maintain effective systems to achieve plant and Company
quality objectives.
Maintain orderly records to demonstrate compliance with
specifications.
Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate
statistical sampling and/or control methods as needed to assure
desired product quality levels.
Investigate returned materials due to quality complaints and insure
that the necessary corrective action is initiated and implemented
to prevent recurrence.
Develop and maintain a system for the effective management of
nonconforming material documentation and report metrics to comply
with plant and company requirements.
Develop and communicate effective quality performance metrics
throughout the organization.
Direct and lead cross functional teams to effectively deliver
improvement projects.
Identify adverse quality trends as evidenced by statistical
analysis and assist process engineering and/or manufacturing
personnel in the development of corrective actions.
Support plant efforts to maintain and conform to plant quality
standards.
Facilitate customer and regulatory agency inspections.
Provide support to other departments in their pursuit of improved
quality products and processes.
Perform related duties as directed by Manager.
