• Up to $33/hr (based on experience) Schedule:
  • 1st shift
  • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Monday- Friday Responsibilities:
    • Assist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.
    • Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenance
    • Open repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair order
    • Perform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standards
    • Performs shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
    • Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment.
    • Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies. Qualifications:
      • Must have a valid driver's license
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • 1-5 years of verifiable experience working on trailers
      • Trailer HM183 inspection experience preferred
      • Ability to provide own basic hand tools
      • No driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances in the past 3 years
      • Basic computer skills
      • Ability to read and comprehend service manuals
      • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipment
      • A basic knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance
      • Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment. Benefits:
