Responsibilities:
Treat conditions, such as fractures and dislocations, torn ligaments, pulled muscles, bunions, arthritis, osteoporosis-related symptoms and foot growth problems.
Treat conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Use surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital conditions.
Monitor and record patients progress according to documentation guidelines
Educate patients about treatment procedures, as well as counsel their patients before and after the surgery.
Maintain up-to-date records of patient services and treatment procedures.
Communicate with patients to obtain their medical history.
Assess patients health condition and prescribe appropriate medications.
Address patient and staff concerns in a timely manner.
Attend regular staff meetings to discuss about any issues or updates.
Guide clinical staffs in their assigned job duties.
Attend medical courses and programs for professional development.
