Job Description:

An academic hospital in Kentucky is planning to hire an additional family medicine physician. This is a mixed practice model that is primarily outpatient with six weeks of inpatient coverage per year. The inpatient coverage is 1 to 2 week rotations at a time. This position offers the opportunity to precept medical students and residents and the opportunity to conduct research, workshops, and lectures. You will work Monday through Friday with 1:8 call. The call is phone-only; residents are in the hospital attending. The facility is accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible in family medicine or internal medicine-pediatrics. A KY license is required to start this position, and CompHealth can assist you with the processing and application.
