Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time BC/BE General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our group of 7 orthopedic subspecialists, in preparation for an upcoming retirement. Among the many positive aspects of this position are:

REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General orthopedic surgery: basic fracture care, sports medicine, joint reconstruction and basic hand cases all available.
2. Hospital call coverage: no more than 1:5, with call responsibilities at hospital(s) close to the primary office location

Call coverage at Level 2 Hospital is generally light, with basic hip/ankle fractures, etc. Level 1 Center nearby handling all major trauma/injuries.
2. Subspecialty support: partners specializing in Hand, Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction can handle any complex case. All are busy, and supportive of adding a generalist to pass off basic cases, as needed.
3. Opportunities for growth: exciting time to join a group poised for growth and expansion, with plans to establish satellite clinics in a variety of surrounding communities. Opportunities to partner with local hospitals to provide exclusive orthopedic coverage for EDs, network referrals, etc.
