Job Description:
Job Summary The Clinical Art Therapist will be responsible for
the day-to-day clinical duties in conjunction with the Creative
Arts Therapies team, dividing assignment between UK Healthcare and
Eastern State Psychiatric Hospital. The position will provide a
patient centered experience when conducting art therapy with adult
psychiatric and medical populations; enhance patient experience by
monitoring and responding to therapeutic evaluative information;
respond to customer service issues in a timely manner, and maintain
complete and accurate clinical documentation. Will align the
activities of students and interns with patient outcomes as
assigned. The University of Kentucky considers the health, safety

Abilities Art Therapy Theory and Practice; Communication Skills
(Oral and Written); Problem Solving; Organization; Time Management;
Flexibility; Work independently as well as within a team;
Dependability. Preferred Education/Experience Master---s degree in
Art Therapy plus one or more years related experience preferred.
