full-service community hospital located in the rapidly growing
southeastern section of Lexington Kentucky. We provide care for
patients in Fayette and surrounding counties. At Saint Joseph East
ambulatory surgery 24-hour emergency care and womens health
services are supported through a vast array of inpatient and
outpatient program. Additional specialty services include Heart
Care Breast Care Sleep Care and Weight Loss Surgery. CHI Saint
Joseph Health supports 5000 active employees 8 hospitals specialty
clinics and a Medical Group with more than 200 locations across

community.**Responsibilities**JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSEProvides patient
care services for all patient populations based on the Plan of Care
under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist. Assists the
therapist in the assessment of individual patient needs;
incorporates age-specific characteristics in communication with
patients; assists in the provision of individualized care relevant
to patient needs; and recognition, monitoring, and provision of
interventions as appropriate.ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Documents accordingly to the policy on documentation for the
appropriate job classification.2. Records and enters all patient
charges for services rendered within the department and does daily
reconciliation on all entered charges as appropriate.3. Records and
posts treatment volumes with other data to construct monthly
reports/tracking.4. Coordinates and orders all department supplies
and maintenance/biomed requests.5. Coordinates all front desk
reception duties such as telephone, faxing, copying etc.6. Safe use
of all equipment to include: cleaning, maintaining, using,
locating, instructing other staff on use of equipment as it applies
to this job description.7. Accurately schedules patients.8.
Transports patients to and from the department when necessary.9.
Does patient set up for therapy treatment and cleans up the
treatment area post treatment. Includes putting away items, wiping
down tables and equipment, etc. as assigned.10. Implements an age
appropriate plan of care in conjunction with the health care team
per Scope of Service. Assists in a professional and safe manner to
carry out the goals of the patient's treatment plan.Other duties as
assigned.**Qualifications**Required Education for Staff Job Levels:
High school diploma or equivalent.Required Licensure and
Certifications: BLSRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities: Computer literacy, excellent communication, initiative,
time management and sound decision making.PREFERRED Qualifications:
