Required License/Registration/Certification Licensed Pharmacist or License Eligible in Kentucky.

Physical Requirements May require standing or sitting for > 5 hrs at a time.

Shift Varies - 8a-4pm or 11a-7pm; 7 days/week; provides coverage for days off and vacation leaves.

Job Summary The UK HealthCare Pharmacy Department is looking for a part-time pharmacist to support operations and clinical services within the Markey Cancer Center. Job responsibilities include covering inpatient and outpatient oncology pharmacy satellites, facilitating the safe ordering, compounding, transportation, and administration of chemotherapy, verifying medication orders, providing patient education, and working closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health care providers to optimize patient care.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Knowledge of inpatient hospital pharmacy practice; Strong clinical skills; Ability to prioritize.

Preferred Education/Experience Hospital Experience Preferred.
