Our office has been a part of the community for over 20 years, and have an amazing patient community that feels like family. -Ideally, we are looking for somoene full-time which is 4 days a week, but are completely open and flexible to a part-time schedule for someone only looking for 2 days a week! We currently work a 4-day work week for our full-time Hygienists, with an expected schedule of 7:45-4:45 p.m. - -What You'll Gain -

  • Current dental hygienist license in Kentucky -and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR CertificationPreferred Experience
    • 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcomed! -
    • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
    • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
    • Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements
      • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
      • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
      • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
