Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); work with individuals from various backgrounds; provide superior customer service; and learn complex systems and protocols requiring ability master related law, regulations, and policies.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours/week. May be required to work overtime from time to time. We do provide limited staffing between Christmas and New Year's Day. May have to report during inclement weather.

Job Summary

The duties of this position will develop and support current business systems. The Kentucky Rx Coalition is an initiative that will help UK develop and lead a program to save money for non-profit entities and their employees. Responsibilities include serving as first line representative with incoming calls for the KYRx Coalition; providing initial contact to KYRx Coalition individual members entering into Medicare PDP plans; and assisting in organizing KYRx Coalition Board meetings, preparation of meeting materials, keeping KYRx Coalition Board Minutes, and dissemination of the documents.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

MS Windows, MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge, employee benefits experience, and Pharmacy technician experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

Communications degree preferred but not required; andCertified Pharmacy Technician (National CPhT) preferred but not required.
