• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP).
• Chemotherapy (CHEMO).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM).
• State License Verification.

  • Registered Nurse specialty position available at UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital, part of University of Kentucky Healthcare.
  • This is a Travel/Contract assignment.
  • 2 years ICU experience required.
  • Must have 1 yr of Level 1 trauma experience in a high acuity PCU.
  • No first-time travelers.
  • Must have critical thinking skills and be able to work with patients that may need rapid response.
  • PCU, Med/Surg, Tele experience required.
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required.
  • Will orient to other transitional units.
  • 36 or 48 hours/week contracts available.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 2 years ICU experience.
    • Must have 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in a high acuity PCU.
    • Previous experience with PCU, Med/Surg, Tele is necessary.
    • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required.
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 or 48 hours/week contracts available.
        • Additional Details
        • AHA certifications only.
        • Certifications required for various specialties such as PACU, ER, First Assist, PCU, PICU, ENDO, Cardiac Tele, CVICU, ICU, MS/Tele, L&D, Tele, IR, Cath Lab, Pre-Op, Oncology, PCU, BMT and others.
        • Some certifications accepted as alternatives (e.g., ENPC in lieu of PALS).
