much more€¦ Med/Surg RN Position Summary: - Assesses the patient's
condition and nursing care needs - Sets goals and prescribes
appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological,
social and rehabilitative needs of patients - Develops individual
nursing care plans - Implements care plans and makes revisions as
needed - Evaluates patient care outcomes - Collaborates with
physicians and other hospital employees - Administers medications,
treatments and therapies. - Communicates with patients and oversees
provision of care. - Provides patients and/or family with
instruction and education relevant to condition. - Accurately
documents nursing observations, assessments, medications,
treatments, and other care given. Minimum Qualifications: -
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing,Required - Bachelor's
Degree in Nursing,Preferred - License: Current RN to practice in
the state of (KY) - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within
30 days of hire; - Requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate
