Job Title: LTACH/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of LTAC and vent/trach experience License: KY RN license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications required Must-Have: - Must have 2 years recent LTAC and vent/trach experience - Must have ACLS and BLS certifications - Must have a current KY RN license Description: The LTACH/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients. The nurse utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Critical thinking skills and scientific judgment are essential for anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care. The registered nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. This role includes delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel in delivering patient care are key responsibilities. Experience in a similar role is required.
