Key Job Details – Louisville Nursing Jobs Location: Louisville, Kentucky (40202) – Kentucky healthcare jobs Facility: Cardiac Cath Lab, 6 procedure rooms Assignment Type: Travel RN job Start Date: November 10, 2025 End Date: February 9, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030–$2180 Call Requirements: Weekday call (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM); Weekend call (7:00 AM Saturday – 7:00 AM Monday); 1-2 weekends of call per 6-week schedule Holiday Blackout Dates: 11/27–11/28 and 12/21–1/3 Scrubs: Hospital provided Cath Lab RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN Experience with McKesson Cardiology and Cerner EMR systems Ability to float to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab as needed Strong troubleshooting, detail orientation, and communication skills Preferred: Experience in structural heart procedures, scrubbing, or cardiac monitoring Registered Nurse Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures (1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio) Operate and troubleshoot GE X-ray systems and Cath Lab equipment Accurately document procedures and patient information using McKesson Cardiology and Cerner EMR Participate in call rotation and respond promptly to emergent cardiac cases Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality cardiac care Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment Float to the EP Lab as required Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding travel RN job in Louisville, Kentucky!
