Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Kentucky Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Louisville, Kentucky Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 6:30am - 7pm, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, Saturday rotation every 6 weeks, call requirements of at least 40 hours per 6-week period Highlights: Advanced surgical technology including Mako Robot, DaVinci SP and XI Robots, O-Arm, and Rosa Robot 31 operating rooms with 1:1 patient ratios High-acuity surgical cases across multiple specialties including neuro, orthopedic robotics, thoracic, vascular, transplant, and complex ENT procedures Academic medical center environment offering exposure to cutting-edge surgical techniques Cerner EMR system Opportunity to work with nationally recognized transplant and cardiac programs Requirements: Active Kentucky RN license BLS and NIH certifications required Minimum 2 years of operating room experience; 3 years preferred Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Experience with high-acuity surgical patients Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a world-class academic medical center known for groundbreaking medical achievements and innovative surgical procedures.
