MRI Tech Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,520 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in specialty License: State license not required Certifications: BLS and ARRT (MR) required Must-Have: - Knowledge of MRI Safety, including how to research implants and adhere to scanning guidelines - Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients - Experience with Siemens MR required - Epic and PACS experience preferred - Level 1 Trauma Center/teaching facility experience preferred Description: This position requires dedication to working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Candidates must have strong MRI safety knowledge, including how to research implants. Ability to adhere to scanning guidelines is essential. Experience with anesthesia for pediatric patients is preferred. Two or more years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility is preferred. Experience with Siemens MR equipment is mandatory. Familiarity with Epic and PACS is advantageous. Local travelers within a 75-mile radius will not be considered for this position. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements is mandatory, with medical or religious exemptions only. Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Please note that rehire eligibility checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process. Expectations for call and floating requirements are subject to the unit's policies.
