Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN – Cardiovascular Stepdown (CVSU) Unit Overview: • 32-bed surgical step-down/progressive care unit • Focus: cardiothoracic surgery & interventional cardiology • Patient population: LVAD, valve replacements, post-STEMI, pectus excavatum • Care includes arrhythmia management, IV drip titration, conscious sedation for cardioversions • All RNs ACLS-certified; ECG interpretation required • Advanced skills: chest tube & femoral line removal, external pacing, ACT/iSTAT testing Schedule & Contract: • 8-week assignment • Night shift • Every other weekend required Requirements: • Required: Previous CVSU experience • Preferred: Cardiothoracic post-surgical experience About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
