Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend Experience: Two years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Two years of acute care RN experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification - NIHSS certification - Registered Nurse license Description: A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a governance framework. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. Applying the caring processes of the model of care, the RN is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
