Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,052 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Compact or KY State License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Must be skilled in interpretation of dysrhythmias due to floating requirements. - Travel experience preferred but not required. - Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby. - Rehire eligibility checks will occur regularly. Description: This position is for a general medical surgical floor. The RN will float to telemetry units as needed. One year of experience is required. BLS certification is mandatory. Typically, a daily census of 23 patients is expected. Patients primarily include adults and geriatrics. The unit provides care for patients awaiting facility placement. Interdisciplinary support comprises various services, including physical therapy and pharmacy. All compliance requirements must be met, including BLS and Med/Surg competency. Weekend coverage is necessary, with a commitment to shift assignments. The RN must be proficient in managing dysrhythmias. Isolated precautions and PPE knowledge are essential.
