Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky. Additional Details: If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Nasal Cannula, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports Unit/Facility Details: This is a 23 bed medical surgical unit caring for orthopedic, spine, general surgery and bariatric patients. Floating Requirements: Float to other units in skillset. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined. 7 days maximum time off.
