Job Description:
465 bed private non-for-profit medical center on the Ohio, West
Virginia and Kentucky border with a service area of 750,000 people
in all three states.We presently have six general surgeons on
staff. Three of them run our Bariatric Center of Excellence, one is
a colorectal surgeon, one focuses on breast surgery and the other
does the bulk of the bread-and-butter cases. This position is open
due to the retirement of one of the surgeons.General Surgery call
is 1 in 6. We have eleven operating rooms in the main OR and six in
our outpatient surgery center, which is connected to the hospital.
We have also just opened a brand new surgical recovery floor with
