Job Description:
Analysts is seeking qualified candidates for a PC Refresh
Technician with Windows 10 experience for a 7 month plus contract
opportunity with our direct client in Lexington, KY. This is a
onsite role with a terrific company! PC Refresh Technician Job
Responsibilities:* The scope of this project is to replace client
PCs that are 4 years old.* Technician will be required to perform
needs assessment, (hardware & software) using a Company developed
system and builds for client PCs.* The Company is migrating from
Windows 7 to Windows 10 and experience in installation/build is of
importance.* In addition, the Technician may be assigned to a
location in the Lexington area to provide basic hardware and
software troubleshooting. The Technician will be required to work
in and with the Company's ITSM system (Cherwell).PC Refresh
Technician Requirements:* Minimum of 1 year for all Skill Set
Requirements and Capabilities as a Desktop Technician. Must have
experience with Windows 10 install/build.* Working knowledge and
ability to troubleshoot basic Windows 7 & 10 issues.* Ability to
troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware issues.* Ability to
troubleshoot basic network issues.* Basic knowledge of Ethernet
topology, TCP/IP protocol, and Microsoft products.* Must have
excellent customer service skills, and able to follow standards and
procedures.* Attention to detail as well as follow up and
completion of assigned tasks is required.* Previous experience
working with an ITSM.* A+ Certification is highly preferredSpecial
Requirements:* Must have an insured and reliable vehicle. This
position will require the individual to complete installs at
various work sites within the Lexington area. Mileage will be
reimbursed at IRS approved rate. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.*
Chosen candidate must be able to pass drug test and background
check once offer is extended.
