JOB OVERVIEW/SUMMARY Our IT organization has a critical role in digital transformation at Clorox. The Digital Innovation team's mission in particular is to leverage innovative technology to deliver extraordinary experiences for our business partners. We aim to bring innovative thinking to every conversation and deliver with integrity. We're looking for people who bring great ideas and the skills to execute with agility and creativity while being diligent and thorough. We are looking for students who not only embrace innovation, but help influence and accelerate the adoption across the department and the company. In particular, this role will work under a senior developer's guidance, creating new chabots, or enhancing the capabilities of existing chatbots, delighting end users with the capabilities. Duration of co-op: 40 hours per week (or 20-25 hours per week) for 3-6 months (1-2 qtrs or 1 semester) Location: Either Durham, NC or Pleasanton, CA (preferred, Durham) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Create/enhance scalable, interactive voice/text chatbots - Full lifecycle application development to required standards - Design, code, debug applications using specified software and tools - Software review & identification of code metrics - Unit testing for quality assurance during the application build process - Software integration w/ existing systems - Support, maintain & enhance chatbot functionality - Document software functionality
