US Foods, a premier foodservice distributor in America, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal functioning of our warehouse facilities, which support the delivery of over 350,000 products to our vast network of customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, managing preventative maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety standards, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of operations that feed millions. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to reduce downtime. Ensure compliance with all safety and operational policies and regulations. Keep accurate records of maintenance work and inventories of supplies. Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions to business activities. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical repair. Ability to operate warehouse machinery. Strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
