Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is looking for a Wireless Engineer to join our Connected World team in Lexington KY. The Connected World team focuses on cyber security, software testing, and assurance services for network-enabled devices, such as computers, tablets, mobile devices, apps, software and wireless and connected products. The team provides services to help bring cutting-edge technology to market quickly with assurance of safety/security, quality, and performance.Overview:* Under the direction of the Team Leader, perform defined subsets of the work items required to certify a product, review and asses product information, assist customers troubleshooting non-compliant results, and provide project updates to customers. * Work will involve evaluation and assessment of products to various 3G, 4G, and 5G Industry Specifications (3GPP, GSMA, etc.) and Network Operator specific test plans. Examples include Radio Frequency (RF) and Protocol testing.* Review and understand the specifications and test plans utilized.* Test results will need to be recorded for integration into conformance test reports.* Interface with customers to provide testing results and provide guidance for any non-compliant results.Job Requirements:Requirements:* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent organization and time management skills* Excellent customer service skills* Must be self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment* Prior project management experience is a plus* Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments independently within established parameters* Microsoft Office expertise* Prior wireless experience * Experience with GCF and PTCRB approved test systems Preferred:* Knowledge of ISO 17025Travel Requirements:* Occasional domestic travel may be requiredEducation:* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or MathematicsA career with Intertek means joining a global network of professionals dedicated to bringing quality and safety to life.
