NOW HIRING - PRODUCTION ENGINEERDescription: Uses and promotes Lean Manufacturing methods Designs methods and machines for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality and safety Trains operators in correct process, software, equipment, tooling, and/or fixture use Investigates and initiates Design Engineering change requests. Participates in design reviews of new products or major revisions to guide Design Engineering towards a best solution. Facilitates implementation of design changes Develops and updates process procedures to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and follows Link-Belt standards Troubleshoots process problems and identifies solutions which reduce downtime and minimizes maintenance costs Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting problems with manufactured product Analyzes marketing and economic conditions and relates these factors to future manufacturing requirements Monitors process equipment to identify potential errors and develops solutions to eliminate the occurrence or reoccurrence of problems Performs Project Management for significant management directives Provides technical information for cost estimating and cost reduction Provide essential engineering calculations as required.Skills:equipment, Troubleshooting, capital investment, capital expenditure, equipment layout, Process Development, Production, Continuous improvement, Process improvement, Mechanical engineering, Assembly, fabrication, welding, CadTop Skills Details:welding, project management, capital projectAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or welding)2-5 years related work experience with manufacturing engineeringPreferred: Strong knowledge of heavy equipment welding (i.e. ability to do weld/load calculations, participate in design reviews, create/improve/oversee new and existing weld processesKnowledge of CAD program (they use SolidEdge)CertificationMust obtain yellow belt within one year; green belt is encouragedAdditional included on their job posting:Knowledge Read and interpret all types of drawings, schematics, and blueprints Mechanical aptitudeSkills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, project management and CAD/CAM software Good verbal and written communication skills with all areas of the organization Must be able to teach a safe, efficient, and high quality process to shop workers having various experience levels.CALL RAIN PATRICK859-310-7569EMAIL RESUMES: RAPATRICK@AEROTEK.COM About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
