eCommerce Business Manager

Job Summary: The eCommerce Business Manager is accountable for the business strategy and execution of Tempur Sealy's eCommerce and brand/product consideration that is driven through digital channels. This includes P&L management, merchandising strategies, promotional planning, and assortment, brand and promotional communication in all digital channels so that financial objectives are achieved/exceeded while also supporting broader multi-channel strategies. The role is also responsible for conceiving and developing merchandising strategies and initiatives unique to E-Commerce. Using E-Commerce best practices, this individual will direct the selection for online features and create appropriate merchandise and marketing concepts. This role also plays a critical role in providing valuable insights from direct selling to the corporate assortment and product development pipeline.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:

* Serve as subject matter expert for all TSI properties, experiences and feature/functionality * Identifies areas of opportunity to improve/enhance TSI digital experiences to drive greater customer satisfaction and sales throughput * Develop tactics that enhance customer experience leveraging customer feedback, online trends, benchmarking, marketing/brand activities, click/usage data and tech advancements * Author business requirements; partner with execution teams to deliver projects * Conduct Acceptance Testing (UAT) * Define and refine web strategy across all focus areas, looking for continuous improvement of the client experience, by challenging the utility, the usability, and the interpretability of the present content and functionalities. * Develops techniques that efficiently track and monitor overall product/program performance for the purpose of creating business intelligence that will guide and enhance current and future digital initiatives. * Continuously drives new opportunities that enrich digital connectedness to consumers and retailers for assigned digital products/properties * Works with user experience and technology partners/teams to envision products that are usable and can be socialized and concept tested with audience members. * Develops and socializes product vision, strategy, roadmap and key initiatives with stakeholders and teams. * Work with relevant partners to optimize, set up, and productively use site and web analysis tools (i.e.. Google Analytics, Omniture, SEO and related data and tracking tags, etc.). Create and distribute reports on site and selling Key Performance Indicators to drive sales and site improvements. * Analyze site, sales, industry, category, and macro data to drive merchandising strategy for digital channels * Drive and manage the P&L through annual assortment and financial planning/analysis and ongoing financial forecasting. * Develop product placement, promotional and editorial strategies to maximize sales and margin contribution and brand/product consideration across TSI digital channels and brands. * Work with partners to execute tactics in support of strategies * Provide input as a stakeholder in the coordinated direct channel (flagship stores, call center, digital) promotional cadence * Partner with internal marketing partners (brand, asset management, CRM, social) to create interest and drive traffic to digital touch points. * Partner with Product Marketing and Brand Marketing stakeholders to plan for and develop the presentation/presence of products across digital experiences. * Create and manage digital engagement campaigns (to drive sales, leads, sign-ups, etc.) in addition to bringing to life the digital channel components of campaigns in support of other corporate, brand marketing, product marketing, and CRM activities. * Develop effective business relationships across the organization and lead divisional initiatives in cross-functional teams in order to meet P&L objectives. * Perform competitive site benchmarking on digital content, breadth, organization and presentation. * Create/refine management reporting content/process/data of digital business

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field * Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience including retail merchandising, eCommerce or CPG brand management

To perform this job successfully, the employee must be capable of performing each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements herein are the minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Fast-paced corporate office environment. Some stress may occur. Regular travel is not expected in this position; however, travel around scheduled projects such as program rollouts may be necessary.
