Job Summary Summer student's needed for script writing, acting, and
video editing for Dementia care education series that will be
released nationally through the NIH ADORE program in conjunction
with the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. We are looking for up to 6
students with early career skills in script writing, acting, and or
film/video editing to work part-time or full time depending on
availability and skills over the summer break. Successful
candidates do not have to have all three skill sets, proficiency in
either script writing, acting, and or video editing alone are
enough for application for one of these positions. Hours are
flexible and will be arranged individually based on skill set and
dynamic needs of the program on a weekly basis after discussion
with the Production team and supervisor. This is an ideal job for
students in the Colleges of Communication & Information, Design,
Fine Arts, or others. There is also the potential to continue
working on a part time flexible basis beyond the summer session for
those interested.
Given the COVID -19 pandemic, and the need to protect our
university community including our students, staff, faculty and
visitors, the University of Kentucky is requiring COVID -19
vaccination for all new hires prior to starting employment.
Therefore, as of October 18, 2021, all new hires prior to their
first day of employment must submit appropriate documentation
showing, i) completion of the first vaccination against COVID -19,
or ii) completion of the full vaccination series against COVID -19,
or iii) approved exemption (medical contraindications or a
sincerely held religious belief) through the formal exemption
process from the COVID -19 vaccination requirement. For those
employees who have completed the first vaccination against COVID
-19 prior to their first day of employment, the second vaccination
(if applicable) must be completed following the vaccination
recommended schedule to be considered fully vaccinated.
