Physical Requirements Requires standing and walking. May require
lifting/pushing/carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
Shift On-Call Shifts available: Dayshift hours (7a-3p, 9a-3p,
9a-5p) including weekend rotations. 15-20 hours per week with
opportunity for additional hours. Shifts may include holidays. This
position may be eligible for additional shift differentials
Hires will be cross trained to both Good Samaritan and Chandler ED
Job Summary Position includes the following:
-Registration for Emergency Department patients
-Copay/payment collection at time of service
-Front desk receptionist functions.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities High level of keyboarding accuracy
and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful
situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to
effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience Prior patient registration
experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail,
call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
