Now Hiring Caregivers for Elder Clients in Lexington and Surrounding Communities!Always Best Care of Greater Lexington has openings for compassionate people who love working with the elderly. Part Time and Full Time schedules are available. Daytime, overnight, weekday, and weekend schedules available. Weekly pay, direct deposit, paid training, and opportunities for advancement are offered. The best candidates will meet the following criteria:Be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the USHave a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a working vehicleHave at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing or hospital care environment is preferred, but we will train those with the right energyBe physically fit enough to take care of another human being as evidenced by the ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and carry 35 lbs a distance of at least 25 feet multiple times per day Be willing and able to pass a drug test, criminal background check, and a check of the Nurse Aide Abuse Registry. Job Duties will include cheerfully providing assistance with the activities of daily living which may include assistance with ambulation, transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, transportation to appointments and outings, medication reminders, assistance with therapy programs, and much more.
