Infiltrator's recycling operation is among the country's top twenty producers / consumers of recycled resins and among only a few of whom consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation; we hold over 200 patents.
ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring an Extrusion Operator to be responsible for operating extrusion equipment to achieve desired targets for Quality, Productivity, and Safety.
This opening is for 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

Job Description:


Set up extruder parameters and blend ratios.
Direct Material Handlers as to recipes and dump hopper set-up.
Verify all material dumpers, pumps, receivers, and weigh belt feeders operating properly.
Verify additive feeder(s) are set to correct ratios and operating properly.
Start-up equipment and verify operating conditions (extruder, feed system, pelletizer, takeaway system).
Monitor process and record operating parameters.
Make adjustments to operating parameters as necessary to maximize output.
Operate equipment in a safe manner being mindful of pressures, heats, and amp draw.
Housekeeping - keep work area clean and orderly to ensure a safe working environment.
Inventory accuracy - consumption and production in E1.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


2-3 years previous Extrusion Operating or Machine Operating experience preferred.
Ability to Operate a Forklift
Attention to Detail
Good Attendance.
Can do attitude with a willingness to learn.
Computer skills and previous work history with Inventory Management Systems.
Team player - strongly oriented in teamwork and problem solving.
Ability to work in a fast paced non-climate controlled facility.
Able to manage mutilpe task, assignments, and projects.
