By entering into meaningful collaborations with corporations, TNC seeks to scale conservation impact through creation of business solutions that deliver conservation benefit at the core of business strategy. TNC has established the Impact Finance & Markets Division, bringing together talent from across the organization to shape direction of investment, corporate practices, and markets around the world. The Corporate Engagement Specialist is part of the Corporate Engagement (CE) team within the Impact Finance & Markets Division; reports to the Corporate Engagement Manager; and provides coordination, analysis, and project management support in partnership with CE team members and other staff across the Conservancy. This position may be based remotely throughout the United States, but DC metro area is preferred. Must be currently eligible to work in the United States- no relocation, visa, or immigration assistance will be provided. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Corporate Engagement Specialist assists in building new collaborations and expanding the impact of strategic ongoing collaborations with corporations, all to advance TNC's mission and goals. The Corporate Engagement Specialist works with CE team members to support project design, planning, management, and monitoring. This may involve supporting coordination of multiple funded projects implemented in different countries/states, maintaining a project management dashboard, writing project progress reports, and developing presentation materials. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPEParticipates in project planning, design, and monitoring. Provides project management support. Liaise with other TNC Business Units and scientists located in different units. Provides research and analysis on corporate sustainability trends and programs. Works independently, working with supervisor on complex matters as needed. May supervise interns.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years related work experience. Experience in project management. Experience working in multi-cultural environments. Experience researching and gathering information from divergent sources and compiling it into a cohesive structure. Experience writing reports and informational material. Expert use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Fluency in English.
