Technologies (GAT), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native
Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Supply Technician for
CoMSupCen in Lexington, KY. The Supply Technician performs various
aspects of procurement related duties with general supervision and
is expected to perform consistently with Army Regulations and
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal
Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) policy and
procedures.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The
Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a
descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position
and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the
job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Purchase equipment and maintenance requested by National Guard
Bureau and supported entities
- Commercial off the Shelf procurements
- Follow all Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense
Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) regulations
- Create purchase order package and obtain appropriate
authorizations
- Complete training as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation
(FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
- Revise purchase orders as needed
- Excellent customer service skills including verbal
communication, interpersonal and planning/organizational skills
(Communicate with vendors and manufacturers)
- Basic analytical and creative problem-solving skills to define
or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the
necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend
action based upon application or interpretation of established
guidelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Maintain complete files for record keeping and Contracting
Officer review
- Review of potential vendors registered with System for Award
Management (SAM)
- Familiarity of Maximo
- Working with Finance/Accounting department for invoice related
issues
- Other duties as assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS -

Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supply chain, purchasing, or
inventory control
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and
background checkKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other

- Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and
reasoning skills to a variety of situations, multi-task and
collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet
deadlines.
- Verbal and written communication, attention to detail,
