Position Overview:
HR Coordinator -Position Overview:The Novelis HR Services team is
seeking a HR Coordinator to join a team redefining the HR operating
model and directly supporting employee life cycle activities and
processes from recruiting to retirement. In this critical role, the
selected candidate will report to the Manager, HR Services and be a
part of a growing team of HR professionals passionate about
delivering excellence and driving engagement. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for a variety of human Resources services and
transactions including routine employee lifecycle transactions,
responding to HR, employee, and manager queries with high levels of
customer happiness, and performing data entry related to employee
administration for Novelis locations across the US and Canada. This
position will act as a main point of interaction for HR, employees,
and managers and act as a knowledgeable, trusted, and accurate
partner who is responsible for providing outstanding customer

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Responsibilities:Perform HR transactional administrative services
for diverse groups of internal customer groups including HR,
Managers, and EmployeesComplete assigned work within agreed upon
deadlines and service level agreementsAdhere to predefined
processes and procedures following mentorship outlined in standard
operating procedures and knowledge basesApply required technology
and tools to process requestsOperate in adherence to Company
policy, legislation, and Collective Bargaining AgreementsProvide
mentorship to employees and managers on Novelis HR policy and
practiceMinimum Qualifications:Previous work experience in an
operations / contact center environmentProficiency in Microsoft
Office and experience with HR systemsProven excellence in customer
serviceSelf-motivated to get results and complete tasks
independentlyExcellent interpersonal skillsDetail orientedProven
verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to work with
diverse personalities and function in a team
environmentDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information
situations both the company's and with individual

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or

Location Profile:
Novelis' Berea facility is located in Berea Kentucky near
Lexington. With 140 employees the recycling facility processes
approximately 20 percent of all aluminum cans recycled in the
United States each year - more than 750 million pounds. Berea is
best known for its art festivals historic restaurants and buildings
and as the home to Berea College and nearby Eastern Kentucky
University. The recently built Kentucky Artisan Center hosts a wide
variety of works by Kentucky artisans. In 2019 Novelis was named
