Georgetown Community HospitalSchedule: Weekend Days,
7a-7pESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms primary function of a nurse leader
in planning, directing, ensuring, and evaluating quality of patient
care delivered. Facilitates staff development programs to ensures
staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies,
procedures, and protocols.Responsible for the management of all
human resources assigned to the departments. Determines,
coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and
levels.Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching,
continuing education and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists
with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.Leads the
handling and resolution of complex issues and
complaints.Communicates expectations set forth by directors to
serve as a link between administration and staff nurses in the
absence of the director. Coordinates and integrates
interdepartmental services.
