This position is for anElectricalEngineering Technologistin the ControllerElectronicslab.You will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and expand on your education and experiencethrough a variety of assignments.The applicant does not need to be an engineer but performs professional engineering and scientific assignments of a basic degree of complexity under limited direction and supervision.The applicantwill be responsible for maintaining this facility for the usebythe engineering staff and associated product engineers. A variety of tasks will be assigned on a daily or weekly basis andthe applicantwill be responsible for completing these tasks in a timely and accurate fashion.This is a great roll to gain valuable experience and skills around PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) soldering, rework, and small card builds.Tasks will include maintaining lab equipment, performing experiments, documentingresultsand communicating results back to engineering personnel.The applicantis expected to demonstrateelectrical technician type work including solderinga finelypitched parts, BGA replacement, and constructing cables or electrical fixtures.The applicant should be proficient in reading and interpreting drawings,diagramsand schematicsto assist inreworking anddebugging of complex designs.Theapplicantmay also be expected to handle activities associated withthelab including the purchasing and shipping of parts and assemblies.This applicant must be capable of working with a large team ofengineers. The person in this position is expected to be meticulous in their organizational skills and have excellent communication skills.Theapplicantis expected to be proficient with basic Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel. Thispersonmust be flexible as the responsibilities of this job will change daily. Candidate must be self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision.Job Requirements

• Twoyear degree or above in applicable field of study, or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
• IPC Certification preferred
• Extremely detailoriented
• Motivated, goal oriented and persistent
• Ability to workindependently
• High level of initiative; workswell in a teamenvironment
