CHENEGAWORLDWIDE SUPPORT Company Job Title: Construction Superintendent Clearance: Background Check Location: Lexington, KY Reports To: Sr. Program Manager FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time, Regular Summary: TheConstruction Superintendent (CS) will provide on-site management of allwork efforts associated with the demolition and replacement of a roof system,replacement of HVAC system and installation of a back-up generator. Duties andResponsibilities: Management duties include: plan,schedule, resource and cost management, preparation of reports anddeliverables, establish and maintain records, and quality control.Meetall technical, and contractual requirements of the procurement, delivery, installation,configuration, testing, operating, and turnover of buildingsystemsPerformas the primary technical and managerial interface with the client, theContracting Officer and Contracting Officer RepresentativeResponsiblefor the supervision, technical guidance, effective utilization, anddeliverables completed by other staff as applicableMaintaina complete quality control program in accordance with the Client---s QualityControl Plan to assure installation and testing of systems meet requirementsCreateand submit progress reports that address the status of activities for variousaspects of the contractSubmitweekly reports to the Client---s representative(s)Responsiblefor the installation, testing and verification of all facility systemsVerifynetwork proficiency, manage the equipment warranty program, operate andmaintain the facility---s equipment and control systems, and respond to servicerequestsDevelopwork plans to coincide with concurrent (by others) building constructionscheduleCoordinateall activities with Client, Client Representatives, and other entitiesassociated with the buildings and planned worksActwith full authority on all contract matters relating to daily operationsCoordinatewith various trades performing related workOtherduties as assigned MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.) Bachelor---s degree in engineering orprogram/project management or equivalent is preferredExperience and knowledge in utilitydesigns, system installations, testing and commissioning, as well as applyingbuilding codes and facility criteria standards Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities: Secret Clearance is preferredAbilityto gain Government Agency Installation access through a background check10+ years of management experiencein engineering, program management or related field is preferredExperience in replacement of majorbuilding systems including but not limited to: roof systems, HVAC systems,electrical distribution, plumbing systems is preferredAbilityto travel CONUSKnowledgeof Microsoft Excel and Word required.Mustbe able to speak, read, write, and understand the English languageKnowledgeof Microsoft Project is preferredKnowledgeof computer-based facilities management software desired Physical Demands:(The physical demands describedhere are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.
