General information:Active Secret Clearance Required!This position is for a photo-optics technician responsible for radiographic and physical non-destructive examination of hardware and materials. This position will set up, maintain and operate radiographic equipment in accordance with established procedures and documented engineering requirements.-Some climbing on ladders may be required in addition to pushing and pulling of equipment carts.-Some travel may be required. (minimal if any)-Candidate must be able to work independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with equipment suppliers.-Position will involve climbing on ladders, lifting equipment, pushing and pulling of equipment carts.Basic Qualifications :-Ability to obtain certification as a Radiography Technician (AIANAS 410) which includes successful completion of - AIANAS training program, written and practical tests, eye exam.-Candidate must be able to read blueprints and analyze test results.-Basic understanding of inspection, laboratory and non-destructive testing procedures.-Ability to travel to customer locations.-Good communication skills and the ability to present technical information to customers and non-technical personnel.Ultimately this candidate will be Scanning Armored plates and possibly helmets for military gear. Certification is desired but will look at any candidate with technical abilities that may have experience with Xray machines Basic understanding of inspection, laboratory and non-destructive testing procedures.Desired skills : (not required)-Certified Radiography Technician (AIA-NAS 410).-3 years' experience in radiographic and or non-destructive testing.-AA degree in materials or metallurgy.-Experience in testing military hardware and/or body armor.Datrose creates and fosters a rewarding work environment--one that is fueled by talented and hard-working people...Apply today to join our team!Datrose is an equal opportunity employer.
