Save Job Job Saved -Maintain all equipment for the facility
including building maintenance. -Involves exposure to machinery and
chemicals; lifting materials and products up to 40 pounds;
extensive use of hands and fingers, and/or maintaining a sedentary
or stationary position for periods of time. - Various locations in
the building may be receptive to loud decibels of noise. -The use
of proper PPE is always required, including but not limited to
safety glasses, hearing protection and/or safety shoes.
- Embrace the safety culture by working safely, following OSHA
regulations, identifying and resolving potential safety hazards and
maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain
production machines and facility equipment using mechanical,
electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise.
- Provide emergency, scheduled and/or unscheduled maintenance
repairs of production equipment during production and/or
on-call.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry
functions.
- Understands rubber processing and capable of diagnosing
problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and adjusting mold
presses.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment
and plant facility.
- Reference schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings,
sketches and machine tool testing procedures to perform required
maintenance and service.
- Maintain work orders, report logs, spreadsheets, and team
improvement boards.
- Use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and
material handling equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; two-year certificate from
college or technical school preferred
- Three to five years related experience and/or training on
electrical and hydraulics; or equivalent combination of education
and experience plus good math skills
- Forklift operator certification
- Basic electrical safety knowledge; knowledge of PLC controls
and ability to perform troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of national, state, and/or local electrical
codes
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word Parker
