Job Title: BI Data Analyst

Location: Georgetown, KY (W2 Only )

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Strong Possibility Of Extension)

Description: What you'll be doing

• 
  
• Working with our customers to understand their needs and Client underlying requirements
  
• Creating and maintaining large interconnected datasets and data models that will be used to visualize the data in a presentation tool like Power BI
  
• Accurately gathering and profiling data from multiple sources and visualizing in a presentation tool like Power BI
  
• Applying your creative problem solving skills to uncover data and visualize the data easily and concisely
  
• Recommending directions based on your expertise and insight that will guide the customer down a data driven path
  
• Identify data point relationships and how the data points influence others through data exploration
  
• Build meaningful relationships with the different groups stakeholders in our shops across all of our NAMC's that will help build our data driven future
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • The team is of Data systems and analytics for power trained and battery.
    
  • Handles data acquisition, data engineering: Pulled up from a SCADA platform
    
  • The team is currently using Power BI
    
  • MS SQL or PostGreSQL or OracleSQL is a must have
    
  • Acquiring data from data bases, SCADA
    
  • Applying transformations, working directly with DSA customers and creating analytics
    
  • Data: Machine health data, process related data, tooling, machine consumption data
    
  • Good to have from Automotive side
    
  • 3-5 years of experience.
    
  • Onsite whenever required.
    
  • PowerBI, Python and data packages like Pandas
    
    
    
    What you'll bring
    
    
    • 
      
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI
      
    • Experience with Python and data packages like Pandas
      
    • Skilled in various ETL or ELT data pipelines
      
    • Ability to explore data and find relationships
      
    • Basic understanding of statistics
      
    • Capable of writing complex and highly optimized MS SQL or PostGreSQL queries
      
    • Strong creative and qualitative problem solving skills
      
    • Willingness to learn new things and grow in your knowledge
