The Food Equipment Group is one of seven ITW decentralized business segments seeking an Material Processor for their Warewash Business Unit located in Danville, Kentucky.The Warewash Business Unit produces Hobart brand energy efficient commercial dishwashers that are used in hotels, casinos, restaurants, cruise ships, schools, universities and retail establishments. As the industry leader, Warewash is seeking to expand growth in existing served markets as well as new markets.The Material Processor (Inventory Control Clerk) position is responsible for a range of inventory for departments with various products, assembly lines, internal and external Engineering, Service Group and vendors. This position places purchase orders for inventory, tracks delivery of inventory for materials group and operations, follows up with direct communication with suppliers on day-to-day basis to ensure timely delivery, runs various reports for inventory, inventory maintenance responsibility up to and including system updates for cycle counting/reporting/troubleshooting. Collaborate with Materials Dept for Kanban setup and track/update Expedite Sheets daily. Utilize Epicor, Kanban and MRD for managing inventory, coordinates all service orders from entering order, inventory transfers, packaging and shipment. Prepares and expedites shipments, files, maintains retention of documents, and performs training for operations on Kanban or other inventory management needs. Other duties as assigned. This positions occasionally may require daily and/or weekend overtime. This position is required to support safety standards, will be in airconditioned and non-airconditioned environments from office settings to manufacturing plant floor. While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to sit/stand at desk utilizing computer, use of hands/arms and walking frequently, required to lift up to 35 pounds and wear required PPE on manufacturing plant floor. * High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience* 1-3 years Inventory Management Experience* Computer Skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adjust workflow for business needs, and work independently* Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines* Basic math, measuring skills, and ability to read prints/drawings* ***Preferred Qualifications Below:**** *Working knowledge of parts/application for use** *Epicor experience/knowledge and proficient in MS Excel* * *Associate Degree in Business or related field* * *Customer Service Skills/Experience* * *MRD application and Kanban System* Pre-employment screenings performed (which includes background checks and drug screening).ITW Food Equipment Group is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for all employees.
